Paul A. Bolduc unexpectedly passed away on January 21, 2018. Paul grew up in East Hartford and graduated from EHHS – class of 1981. He resided in Manchester the past 30 years, 23 with his wife Lisa. His two sons, Lucas and Jake, both went to Manchester public schools. Paul worked as the Operations Senior Specialist in the Underwriting Controls and Compliance Dept of CIGNA in Bloomfield. He was a parishioner of St. Bridget’s Church in Manchester, as well as an active participant in the community. He was a Board member of both the PTA at Highland Park Elementary and Relay for Life Event in Manchester. Besides loving to garden, cook and host family gatherings, Paul loved watching/attending the UCONN Men’s and Women’s basketball teams, as well as tailgating at UCONN football games.

Paul was an avid UCONN fan, loved attending games and tailgating. In 2018 a group of friends and family members organized a tailgate in his honor to raise money for scholarships. These scholarships would be given to Manchester seniors on his behalf. It was a huge success. The following year, the Paul A. Bolduc Charitable Foundation, Inc was founded. The purpose of this foundation is simple. Keep the memory and spirt of Paul alive. Each year, our fundraising event will be a tailgate at a UCONN game – the PBTG. Each year, all monies raised will go to Scholarships for Manchester Seniors.
Our Success:
Since 2018, our group has raised upwards of $100,000. We have given Manchester seniors 50+ scholarships – (1X - $1000) in 2018, (3X - $2000) in 2019, (5X - $2000) in 2020, (4X - $2000) in 2021, (6X - $2000) in 2022 and (7+ - $2000) in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. The scholarships are provided through the Manchester Scholarship Foundation, via a yearly donation from our Foundation in Paul’s name.
